I’m a Senior Technical Writer and Content Designer at Okta .

For roughly a decade, I’ve built and scaled documentation ecosystems for enterprise SaaS platforms across identity management, cloud infrastructure, and IoT.

I design content systems that bring structure to complexity, whether that’s a large-scale documentation architecture, developer-facing content, or an AI-assisted workflow. My work sits at the intersection of content design, systems thinking, and emerging AI capabilities: how information is structured, how it flows through systems, and how it reaches users in a way that is clear, consistent, and actionable.

Designing how AI behaves

In recent work, I’ve been applying these principles to AI systems: designing how they interpret ambiguous inputs, generate structured outputs, and operate within human workflows. This includes defining prompt architectures, interaction patterns, and guardrails that make AI behavior predictable and trustworthy, with people reviewing and approving what the AI produces.

What I’ve done

Over the last decade (and more), I’ve:

  • designed prompt architectures, interaction patterns, and guardrails for AI-assisted documentation workflows

  • developed a deep interest in the different ways people discover and process information

  • designed information architecture (IA) for web-based technical documentation

  • written and designed a wide variety of GUI, CLI, developer, and API documentation

  • written copy for a variety of product interfaces, from on-screen guides, error notifications, and user onboarding to push notifications and tooltips

  • led large documentation projects and mentored junior writers

  • kept the end user at the centre of every content decision

  • enjoyed working with some of the smartest people in the information and technology sector
